Fable Meets: Léa Fernandez
When The Fable caught the eye of artist Léa Fernandez, we knew we had to meet her. This creative beauty expresses life (the good and the bad), the human form and the beauty of nature through her artwork. And quite frankly, we’re obsessed with her work!
“I think my art follows the waves of my life. I’ll draw and paint for my body to release and I’ll write to release my what’s in my head.”
Her fine pen drawings illustrate the delicate curves of the female silhouette and the passion between two people.
“I feel connected to where the light hits the skin of the body or face.”
Working in architecture/interior design during the day, Léa finds herself with a brush or pen in hand, either writing poems or working on some drawings.
Favourite Season
Spring. There's nothing better than being surrounded by blossoming flowers and scents while feeling the warmth of the sun on our freshly uncovered skin.
Latest book
'Only love is real' by Dr Brian Weiss.
Best holiday
A road trip along the north coast of Spain. Dali's house in Cadaqués was very inspiring and playful. Also, the misty landscapes of Holland (near Nagele in the North) were very poetic in winter.
